Shaving Foam Cream
Post Shaving Foam Cream

Does anybody remember shaving foam cream we used to have at primary school. If so, does anyone know how you could make it.

Post SHAVING FOAM CREAM ha ha
by julz on 10/14/2009 19:16

Well once more I have scanned my old school recipe books to no avail!but I think you may mean 'roselle' - you can buy it in most 'cash and carry' shops in powder or liquid form but we always used powder so you could make it as thick as you liked! (its a bit like the old dream topping you used to get on birds triffles)- hope this helps you

Omg shaving foam was THE best ever dessert, I remember ours was white and foamy and had crushed cornflakes on top, in a thin covering. I would give anything to taste that stuff again !

Hi guys,

At present, the only recipe we have with Roselle is Manchester Tart = http://www.schoolrecipes.co.uk/index.php/school-dinner-recipes/34-desserts-puddings/91-manchester-tart.html.

As for the Roselle itself, you can get it from here bundled with some other stuff so it might be worth calling to see if they will sell it on its own - http://www.espressoservices.co.uk/milk_shakes.html.It seems to be in aerosol form which makes it even more like shaving foam!!

Cheers.
