anybody got the reciepe for butterscotch pudding like we had at primary school?It was in a tart of pastry but have not been able to find a reciepe for the filling.Any ideas?

There's nothing called 'Butterscotch Pudding' in my recipe archive so Julz may well be right and it might be Toffee Cream Tart (http://www.schoolrecipes.co.uk/index.php/school-dinner-recipes/34-desserts-puddings/104-toffee-cream-tart.html), Fudge Tart (http://www.schoolrecipes.co.uk/index.php/school-dinner-recipes/34-desserts-puddings/129-fudge-tart.html) or Gypsy Tart (http://www.schoolrecipes.co.uk/index.php/school-dinner-recipes/34-desserts-puddings/105-gypsy-tart.html).

Alternatively, there's a Butterscotch Sauce (http://www.schoolrecipes.co.uk/index.php/school-dinner-recipes/61-sauces/116-butterscotch-sauce.html) recipe so you could maybe thicken that up a bit and whack it in some pastry??!

hi .i have the recipe for butterscotch tart and tried and tested and ive been told it taste exactly like the old school days pudding lol if u would like this recipe i would be more then happy to post it for you i also have the recipe fo wellington fudge if you can rememeber that chocolate sponge pudding with gooey chocolate sauce.yummmy

I would love your reciepe please.Have tried several but done that are right yet,all a bit sweet.
If you have the correct one my wife and I would be very gateful.
