We've had a recipe request from nichola for a 'Chocolate Hedgehog'. Here's her description:

'lovely dome shaped cornflake filled gorgeousness,much better than a chocolste cornflake cake'

We will have a scour here at HQ but if anybody else has any ideas as to what this could be, then please post here.

Can't find anything I'm afraid. All the chocolate and cornflake based desserts are already listed so maybe someone else can come to the rescue. Did you look at this one though??

I don't have a recipe for the chocolate cornflake hedgehog I'm afraid.

But I wonder about the standard cornflake cake.

At home I make these with just melted chocolate and cornflakes, but I remember making these for into the school packed lunches we used to send out for the free school meals.
We used golden syrup and cocoa powder, and they were scrummy.

I wonder if anyone has the recipe for these?

Hi I know the origional post was a while ago but when I worked as a school cook we made these with the recipe you have for chocolate cracknell but we used cornflakes instead. We got the dome shape by using a potato scoop and pressing it in firmly then it was served with mint custard.
