Glamorgan Patties recipe Ingredients & Quantities- 210g of Fresh White Breadcrumbs
- 250g of Cheese
- 90g of Onions
- 1tsps of Nutmeg
- 2tsps of Salt
- 1tsps of Pepper
- 4 Eggs
- 90g of Breadrcumbs (for coating)
Method- Mix together the fresh breadcrumbs, grated cheese and chopped onion. Add the nutmeg and seasoning.
- Separate half the eggs, put to one side and use the yolks and remaining eggs to bind the dry mixture together.
- Divide the mixture in to portions and mould each portion in to a round fish cake shape.
- Beat the remaining egg whites until they are frothy but not stiff.
- Dip the patties in to the egg whites and then coat with breadcrumbs. Put on to tin lids and brush with oil.
- Bake at 375F/190C for approx. 30 minutes until golden.
- Serve hot with tomato and basil sauce.
