Cheese and Potato Pie Recipe Ingredients & Quantities- 400g of Potatoes
- 5g of
Dried Milk - 45ml of Water
- 1/4tspn Mustard
- 10g of Margarine
- 125g of Cheese (Cheddar)
- 30g of Onions
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Method- Prepare and cook the potatoes.
- Melt the margarine and fry the prepared onions until cooked.
- Reconstitute the dried milk with the potato water, beat it in to the potatoes while mashing.
- Add the cooked onions and most of the cheese and mustard - reserve some cheese for topping.
- Place the potato mixture in to a greased tin.
- Sprinkle the spare cheese over the top.
- Cook in a moderate oven until brown on top.
Notes: garnish with parsley sprigs
