Fried Fish in Batter recipe Ingredients & Quantities- 500g of Frozen Fish Portions
- 110g of Plain Flour
- 30g of
Dried Milk - 1tsp of Baking Powder
- 1/4tsp of Salt
Method- Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and gradually add the cold water to give a coating consistency.
- Flour the frozen fish portions.
- Dip the fish in the batter mixture and fry in a pre-heated deep fat fryer at 180C for approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Remove fish from fryer when the portions are golden brown.
- Drain the excess oil from the portions before serving.
Notes: timings will depend on size of fish portions. This is based on 500g of fish in 10 portions.
